Arris

The Journal of the Southeast Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians

Arris is a peer-reviewed journal published annually by the Southeast Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians. Arris is now soliciting papers for Volume 30, to be published in 2019. The journal welcomes original scholarship on all aspects of the history of architecture and landscape in the form of both research articles and field notes. Papers should conform to the submission guidelines here.

Arris solicits research articles and proposals for field notes on an ongoing basis. Only submissions received before February 15th in any calendar year can be considered for the volume slated to appear in that same year. Research articles will be blind-peer reviewed.

Books reviewed in Arris should represent outstanding scholarly contributions about the architecture of the South or by authors who reside in the South (defined as SESAH member states).

Volume 29 will be edited by Virginia Price and Al Willis and available in 2019.
