2020 SESAH SAH Annual Conference Fellowship

SESAH is pleased to announce that Mingqian Liu is the recipient of the 2020 SESAH SAH Annual Conference Fellowship. The $1000 fellowship will enable Mingqian to attend the 2020 SAH Annual Conference in Seattle.

Ms. Mingqian Liu is currently a doctoral student from the Department of Architecture and Center for Heritage Conservation at Texas A&M University. She also works for the College of Architecture Diversity Council and Center for Teaching Excellence. Her research interests include architectural and urban history, historic preservation, heritage tourism, and public education at museums. She received an M.A. in History of Art and Architecture from Boston University and a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Iowa.

A Manchurian Chinese originally from Beijing, Mingqian has worked in different museums and cultural institutions in China and the U.S., including the Palace Museum, Tsinghua University Art Museum, and Pyramid Atlantic Art Center.
